For our 3rd day in Music Alive we learned how to add music and sound to videos and we had a lot of fun making soundtracks for movies. You can see from these examples how much fun we had trying out different ideas...

We also learned how to record live audio and add it to our compositions. We started with a recording we made of ourselves playing drums and tried out other ideas as well. Here are some of the results.

In today's Music Alive class we started the day working on reading rhythms and creating our own. Then we learned how to type music into a program called Finale and made up our own melodies. Finally we learned how to play music into Garage Band using our piano keyboards and we created songs that included our own melodies along with prerecorded loops and sounds. I think they turned out pretty well. Here's what we wrote.
